Andy Curtis,

BSc (Hons), Dip. Ortho. Med, Dip. Injection Therapy, MCSP, MHPC, MAACP, MSOM.

Andy's background lies in professional sport. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist he had a short career as a professional rugby player with the premiership team at Bristol. Injury troubles cut his playing career short leading him to train as a physiotherapist in London. As a physiotherapist his experience of high level sport and training has enhanced the level of management received by his patients.

Andy also has experience of working within the League One professional football team Leyton Orient, and is currently Head Physiotherapist for the National League 2 rugby side at Bournemouth. Along with sports injuries Andy also focuses his physiotherapy interests on the management of spinal complaints. He has great success treating all types of back and neck pain, utilising his expert manual therapy and acupuncture skills and in depth knowledge of Orthopaedic Medicine.

This knowledge has allowed Andy to become qualified in the practice of injection therapy, utilising cortisone injections in the resolution of numerous complex musculoskeletal complaints. This can be done under ultrasound guidance by Andy in sensitive areas, making use of the clinic’s dynamic ultrasound scanner.
